Le Directeur ou la Directrice veille au bon fonctionnement de l’INTRIQ. Plus particulièrement, il ou elle est responsable de : a) veiller à l’organisation et à l’administration générale de l’INTRIQ; b) élaborer la politique scientifique de l’INTRIQ en concertation avec le Directeur ou la Directrice scientifique; c) préparer le budget de l’INTRIQ et le soumettre pour approbation au Comité exécutif, puis présentation à l’Assemblée générale; d) préparer avec l’aide du Comité exécutif la demande de subvention de l’INTRIQ ainsi que l’évaluation à mi-parcours et la soumettre pour adoption au Comité exécutif; e) prendre la responsabilité de l’exécution des décisions du Comité exécutif ; f)préparer le rapport annuel des activités de l’INTRIQ qu’il soumet pour adoption au Comité exécutif et pour évaluation au Conseil institutionnel; g)gérer le personnel de soutien de l’INTRIQ et h) présider l’Assemblée générale et le Comité exécutif.

Le Directeur ou la Directrice scientifique est responsable de l’élaboration, de la mise à jour et du suivi de la politique scientifique de l’INTRIQ. Il assiste le Directeur ou la Directrice dans la préparation de la demande de subvention de l’INTRIQ ainsi que de l’évaluation à mi-parcours, spécifiquement sur la définition des axes de recherche et du programme scientifique de l’INTRIQ.

Le Comité exécutif adopte le budget, tout règlement concernant la régie interne de l’INTRIQ, les aides financières découlant d’appels à projets et de demandes de financement exceptionnelle. De plus, il aide le Directeur ou la Directrice dans la préparation de la demande de subvention de l’Institut et de l’évaluation de mi-parcours et accorde et révoque le statut des membres réguliers de l’INTRIQ

Le Conseil institutionnel est constitué des Directeurs ou vice-doyens de la recherche des institutions partenaires. Il conseille la direction et les membres sur la stratégie et la gestion de l’INTRIQ. Il entérine le budget et le rapport annuel présenté par le Directeur ou la Directrice.

Le Conseil étudiant veille à la dynamique étudiante interinstitutionnelle et s'implique dans l'organisation d'activités, notamment la conférence annuelle, faite par et pour les étudiants et les étudiantes. De plus, il participe à favoriser la collaboration entre les chercheurs et chercheuses de l'INTRIQ et à la diffusion des résultats de la recherche par des présentations ou des stages.

Le Comité d'orientation est composé de chercheurs et chercheuses experts internationaux ainsi que de membres pouvant éclairer l'INTRIQ sur les priorités de recherche du Québec. Le rôle du comité est de donner des avis aux Directeurs ou Directrices sur les grandes directions scientifiques à prendre pour les années à venir.

L’Assemblée des membres est constituée de tous les membres réguliers de l’INTRIQ. Peuvent être invités par le Directeur ou la Directrice (sans droit de vote) les membres collaborateurs et collaboratrices, les partenaires, des observateurs, des représentants du personnel de recherche et des étudiants et étudiantes. Chacun des membres réguliers de l’Assemblée a un droit de vote.

The Director oversees the properfunctioning of INTRIQ. More specifically, he or she is responsible for: a) overseeing the organization and general administration of INTRIQ; b) develops INTRIQ's scientific policy in consultation with the Scientific Director; c) prepare the budget of INTRIQ and submit it for approval to the Executive Committee, then present it to the General Assembly; d) prepare, with the assistance of the Executive Committee, the INTRIQ grant application as well as the mid-term evaluation and submit it for adoption to the Executive Committee; e) take responsibility for the execution of the decisions of the Executive Committee; f) prepare the annual report of INTRIQ's activities which it is submited for adoption to the Executive Committee and for evaluation to theInstitutional Council; g) manage the support staff of INTRIQ and h) chair the General Assembly and the Executive Committee.

The Scientific Director is responsible for developing, updating and monitoring INTRIQ's scientific policy. He assists the Director in the preparation of theINTRIQ grant application as well as the mid-term evaluation, specifically on the definition of the research axes and scientific program of INTRIQ.

The Executive Committee adopts the budget, any regulations concerning the internal management of INTRIQ, financial assistance resulting from calls for projects and exceptional funding requests. In addition, it assists the Directorin the preparation of the Institute's grant application and the mid-term evaluation and grants and revokes the status of regular members of INTRIQ.

The Institutional Council is made up of the directors or vice-deans of research from partner institutions. He advises management and members on the strategy and management of INTRIQ. It approves the budget and the annual report presented by the Director.

The Student Council ensures the interinstitutional student dynamic and is involved in the organization of activities, in particular the annual student conference, held by and for the students. In addition, it helps foster collaboration between INTRIQ researchers and disseminate research results through presentations or internships.

The Steering Committee is made up of international expert researchers as wellas members who can inform INTRIQ about Quebec's research priorities. The role of the committee is to advise the Directors on the major scientific directions to be taken for the years to come.

The Members' Assembly is made up of all regular members of INTRIQ. Contributors, partners, observers, representatives of research staff and students may be invited by the Director (without voting rights). Each of the regular members of the Assembly has one vote.
