CONFETI (CONFérence ÉTudiante de l'INTRIQ) is a yearly student conference sponsored by the INTRIQ. It attracts graduate students and post-docs in the fields of physics, mathematics, computer science and engineering working on quantum computing related projects.

The conference will take place on January 8-10, 2019 at the Hôtel Château Bromont in Bromont, Québec.

McGill Lab tour, December 1st

This event is the second of the two Lab tours organized by the INTRIQ students in 2015.

The INTRIQ student council is currently organizing lab tours for the student members of INTRIQ. The goal of this activity is to favor infrastructure sharing by making students and members more aware of the equipment that is available in peer institutions.

The second tour is organized in McGill University and will present laboratories of:

Jack Sankey (Optomechanics)
Guillaume Gervais (Low temperatures)
Lilian Childress (Quantum defects)
David Cooke (Terahertz)
Peter Grutter (Atomic force microscopy)

and a presentation about clean-room facilities.
